Jack Weber business partner at Tachyons the new owner of FPI-member Franchise Match.

With TachYons we started working more and more for franchise formulas in the Netherlands. This also resulted in discussions with formulas that wanted to settle in another country.

Based on this question, we came into conversation with Franchise Match who are part of the FPI Network.

And that collaboration eventually became a takeover, based on the idea that TachYons can deploy solutions that have a lot of added value for a Franchise formula.
Franchise Match has the network and a lot of knowledge about franchise and TachYons has a number of solutions that make it possible to find a Master in a more substantiated way.

After which the master can also be scaled up faster through the recruitment activities of TachYons.

A combination of 2 companies that have realized a new way of working for franchise formulas.

Farrah Rose has unrivalled experience in international franchising and has been operating in this field since 1984. Initially working for major corporations, such as Burger King and Arcadia Group Plc, Farrah began advising businesses as a consultant in 1996. During this time she has worked with organisations of all types from family businesses to major PLC companies and high profile brands, helping them to expand their businesses into global markets,  with the support of over 70 franchise associates from 100+ countries she offers her clients an end to end expansion solution. Farrah is now recognised as one of the leading authorities on international franchising and her expertise is sought by companies around the world.

Iain Martin. After working at Board level in a major IT business, Iain bought his first franchise in 1994. This was a white-collar consultancy business, which helped companies become franchisors. This gave him experience of being a franchisee, and also extensive insight into what makes a good franchisor. He sold this business in 1999, and set up a match-making business for linking franchisors to suitably qualified franchisees. This business developed into a network of 11 franchised consultants across the UK, and gave Iain a real insight into some of the challenges and opportunities of being a franchisor. He has established another business which works primarily with individuals who wish to consider becoming franchisees, and helps them to find best-fit franchises in which to invest. Today, the majority of Iain’s time is spent working with The Franchising Centre, helping major international brands to enter the UK. Over the years he has been responsible for helping brands in many sectors secure strong partners – these include domiciliary care, Food & Beverage, white collar professional services, B2B services and a variety of non-retail B2C services.
