Global Franchise Forum in Bucharest - Afterthought
Franchise Pool International (FPI) held its 9th Global Franchise Forum in
Bucharest, Romania. With 50 participants from 15 countries it was a resounding
success again. In total 12 franchise brands presented their concepts. During
1-on-1 meetings they were also able to speak about their expansion plans
directly with the local FPI partners.
At FPI’s Global Franchise Forum,
franchisors have the unique opportunity to approach franchise experts
representing 40 different markets and ask specific questions about their target
markets’ opportunities and challenges.
In addition to almost all European
countries, FPI partners cover Southeast Asia out of Singapore, the Middle East
out of Dubai and Canada/USA out of Toronto. We can facilitate expansion into 40
different markets. Usually brands won’t move to 40 countries at the same time.
However, each visiting franchisor has the opportunity to talk to franchise
experts from their defined target markets. These discussions allow franchisors
to gain valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities that each
market presents.
FPI organizes two such events every year. These meetings
are designed to support the international growth aspirations of global franchise
systems. Our consultants serve as advisors for market entry. FPI also provides a
network supporting the search for master partners in the new markets.
The
next Global Franchise Forum will be held in Oslo, Norway on 14th to 16th May,
2019.
